Women's Self-Defense Instructors
Instructor 2 Howard is a self-defense instructor with the philosophy: Train Real-Train Often-Stay Safe. He has over 33 years of involvement in
the martial arts studying various styles and systems over the years. They
include Judo, Okinawan Shorin Ryu, Lama Kung Fu, Tae Kwon Do (1st
degree Black Belt under Hilario Cabral; 7th degree black belt WTF).
Lately he has turned more to
self-defense focused systems like Jeet Kune Do, Kali, and Muay Thai. He has over 15 years of teaching experience in the areas of personal training, martial arts and self-defense and is a volunteer with Habitat for Humanity, American Cancer Society, and various other organizations. In addition, he is an associate minister at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church, Pasco, WA. “Your personal safety is up to you…you must take ownership of this. We should have been doing this years ago. The female body is built differently and can be used effectively against a male attacker if trained properly.
